That's why I use Nostr.
It sucks major balls, but at least people here can criticize anyone they want without worrying about being defederated. Sure, every instance (relay) has an owner, but they only have the right not to broadcast or display the posts, (notes) not to delete the notes or prevent two people from talking with eachother.
