Caught a bit on BBC a news earlier talking to young people, a lot are giving up after 100+ failed applications. One person who had a job had a zero hours contract as a cleaner and pointed out it was impossible to get a job which would pay for anywhere to live. I feel like I’m back in the 80s with YTS etc, makes you realise it is austerity and political choices that have led us back here not the actual youth.
