The best Linux distro for elderly is without a doubt Fedora Project (npub1hpw…cd0d) #Kinoite. I installed the applications they needed a couple of years ago, and set it to autoupdate. Everytime I visit, all I need to do is to reboot.
Before Kinoite I installed Ubuntu Budgie, and it was relatively painless, but 1) I had to run my update script every time I visit and make sure things work, and 2) every 2 years I had to upgrade the OS which never worked for me on Ubuntu and had to install from scratch.
