My friend was bummed to drop their pronouns from their email signature; no way around that one. But they have a lot more room to get creative with anti-DEI orders affecting their real work: following change-orders exactly to the letter, and swapping in other solutions which maintain the dropped work’s spirit. And doing so in a way that gets approved, because they're good at their job, and so are their managers. (I wish I could be more specific here, but you'll understand why I can’t be.) #uspol
