You'll get there. It's bumpy, but it's solid as hell. Eventually you'll wonder why you didn't try it earlier.
I started with Slackware and ended up on Arch. (did LFS and Jin2 along the way? I guess I'm a glutton for punishment.) EndeavourOS is solid. If you stick with Pop, I hope you work it out. I hear good things about that one.
