From your reply, I think thejohnnycrypto (nprofile…9n82) found an elegant solution of just hosting his own blossom server, he mentioned something along those lines in his reply. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford or manage that. Is there a way to request for a specific object to be preserved permanently on a public blossom server?
I read Wavlake's policy and user agreement yesterday. It's much more professional and conservative in terms of what's permitted on the platform. Made me hold off on choosing what I'll be posting there. Sometimes I work on things without knowing the actual source of the sample just because the sample sounded good 😂 (samples that I maybe came across on twitter or something like that). I have actually seen Lupe Fiasco release a whole song using a sample he found on twitter before. I just don't know how he determined whether it was safe to use or how he figured out how to clear it if it required clearance.
