Pretending like that person was arrested solely because they calmly said the n-word is so disingenuous. Also, her jail sentence was stayed afaik so she wasn't sent to jail.
I agree it's not a crime to say the n-word, but it seems like you could argueably convict regardless of that. I've seen people get disorderly conduct charges for a lot less.
