Most people don't opt out of anything. It's really interesting and sad. Most people don't critically think about their day to day decisions. They're inundated with EULAs and cookie popups. Just look at how many women scanned their government IDs into some random app and had that information exposed during the Tea Spill leak.

I don't let people scan my drivers license and it's truly amazing how many people are shocked that I even want to opt out; and how no one has ever asked to opt out before:
