Dhamar on Nostr: for me every day is an independence celebration, but independence in my understand is ...

for me every day is an independence celebration, but independence in my understand is not fully free, we still bound by many rules, and that is how people should behave

in my country, the 81st independence anniversary is still full of intrigue, sin and blood, this is not mine💔not at all

the fight against foreign colonizers has now changed into a fight against colonization by our own government, the same blood and tears still flow, robbery, murder, destruction, kidnapping, harassment, and rape still happen, the difference is that the resistance after the proclamation of independence was read is no longer accompanied by the shout of Merdeka! (Freedom!)

this change in the form of power is made legal by laws and regulations in the name of the people’s welfare

corruption is done on a massive scale in every part of the government, and it is protected by the law

collusion happens everywhere and is backed by thugs and pet organizations

nepotism is practiced from generation to generation and is protected by the military

nature resources are taken, erase forest, kill biodiversity, broke soil, destroy ocean, from palm oil, mineral, oil under the ground, to gold mountains, mining by the elites and oligarchs, make them richer and are used to buy politicians, manipulate election and ruin survey and dirty campaign

military paid by the people’s tax money used to oppress, assault, kidnap, and even kill those who dare to speak the truth

poems, praises, and songs that were meant to create love and the spirit of sovereignty and nationalism have now turned into sadness and disappointment in the low to rock to rock bottom level

law and regulations seem to exist only to keep corruption, collusion, and nepotism running smoothly, without any chaos, so that all their groups still get their share

independence celebration makes the country look sovereign, it guards the borders from illegal immigrants and thieves from other countries, but the thieves from inside the country are even crazier in their behavior

as a human born on the land of Dwipa, my natural love for this homeland cannot be put into words, hope for economic and social progress still burns strongly in my heart, not only on one commemorative day, but every day, even small i want to become an individual whose every movement and action is directed toward complete development, as much as i can, according to my ability, and as cleanly as possible from them
