That is not continuous time, that is the fluid dynamics of time. I am defining continuous time in the definitive sense that there is no fundamental quantized unit of time. You are speaking of time’s flowing nature.

Are you aware of Planck time? You do realize that there are 1.855 x 10^43 Planck ticks (blocks) of time in 1 second. There are an incompressible number of these blocks of time in just 1 human second. Our cognition emerges from these blocks of time, of course it is “continuous” and flowing to our perception, nothing in reality changes between these blocks or without them. The scale of our perception is the internal experience of “small world”. Yet it must be fundamentally discrete logically for conservation to uphold globally.

Beneath the threshold of Planck the meaning of time ceases to have meaning/logic, akin to the block in Bitcoin, there is no smaller possible unit of time local to the system describing. Bitcoin can’t perceive seconds, what you call our “continuous”. Yet it too must be discrete as physics already demonstrates mathematically, yet flowing internally.

Physics rejects the meaning of this fundamental unit, meaning the fundamental boundary, ie where measurement occurs. Quantum mechanics is not describing behavior at this scale of time because it cannot empirically test it. Bitcoin is the reification of such a unit local to itself.

We cannot perceive the time between these fundamental Planck blocks because in this domain/universe there is no such definition, encrypted. Meaning if there was ever space between our fundamental blocks of time, we could never perceive it, yet know it logically. It too must be flowing and discrete.

Discrete is the external logic, flow is the internal experience.
