This is the start of a new series of daily(ish) film photos, shot and processed by me. Most are from my travels in Spain. I post film photos under the banner “Grainy Photos”. Find more at https://grainyphotos.com

Spain has inspired many film directors, with numerous locations. From the snow-capped mountains of the Pyrenees to the dusty plains of the Tabernas Desert. I don't go out looking for them; I stumble upon them. So, I thought I would present a series of photos of film locations and abandoned film sets.

We begin with this photo from the Tabernas desert in Spain: the tree of penance from Conan the Barbarian. Another location tomorrow.
