Every other platform sells you a blue checkmark. Nostr's version of verification (NIP-05) is a text file you host yourself, on a domain you own, that just says "yes, this pubkey is mine." No subscription, no company deciding to revoke it on a bad day. Somehow a JSON file you control is the flex now.
