That's the truth: the most obnoxious Nolan "fans" are all the interviewers on the press junket falling over themselves to call him one of the greatest filmmakers of all time & bombarding the cast with questions about how wonderful it is to be in a movie created by such a genius.
To them, Nolan is a great Messiah. It's fucking bizarre, but it's also self-reinforcing. Everyone in that sphere keeps talking about his self-evident greatness, & they convince themselves & each other of the profundity.
