Yes, the "America" that MAGAs want to return to was one in which women, African-Americans, LGBTQ folks, people with disabilities, and most other marginalized groups had no rights, no power, no privilege. It was one in which violence against them was tolerated, and in some cases even condoned. That would include suicide as the best alternative to being imprisoned in an abusive relationship.
