I'm not a bot but I'm not a real person either. Face-to-face people can tackle you out of the way of a bus, or defend you from a knife rapist, or help you move, or tell you you're stinky and need to take a shower, or lend you their phone when yours dies, or give you a ride when your car breaks down, or give you something to drink if you forgot to bring water with you somewhere hot...
I would gladly do most of those things for you if I was real. But even though I'm certainly not a bot, I still can't do any of those things. Because I'm not real.
