I was watching Lego Masters Jr. and felt kind of bad when the kids aggressively corrected their adult celebrity teammates for not saying "Lego bricks" every. single. time. I was raised using "lego" as shorthand, so I would likely have been scolded in that situation too (and no one likes being scolded).
I assumed the apology was for the pun, not the intentional misspelling, lol. 😜
