So I'm reading David Byrne's "How Music Works", and I'm pleasantly surprised.
I was expecting tons of performative quirkiness, a la his stage persona, but it's actually a highly readable and thoughtful meditation on all aspects of music.
I'm only into the first couple chapters, but I'm really enjoying it.
