I am fortunate enough to live in a city with a fairly large library housed in a historical building with a larger adjacent park. A walk to borrow a book then takes you by a bench with a post-grad student who just ditched her light coat for the early chilly morning and now bathes in the sun listening to audiobooks, an alternative chick with round glasses, a long black ponytail, playing into Friday's image with boots and knee socks, who is reading a thick book with floral fore-edge illustration, or just a librarian that makes you want to return a book late just to give her a reason to punish you.

I love spring.
