The women, who transferred the equivalent of about $14,000 in cryptocurrency to another wallet in a matter of seconds, left the scene shortly afterward and vanished without a trace.
According to the investor’s account, after the woman returned the phone, the group’s demeanor changed, and they left the establishment under the pretext of going to the restroom. He claims that, after he called the police, the women were located and taken into custody, but no official statement from the Bali police has yet independently confirmed the incident or the arrests.
