You don’t need a therapist, just a willingness to ask yourself tough questions & someone who has your back.
The use case for a therapist or any support person in your life, is to be a sounding board who is non judgemental and will still call you on your shit. We all have blind spots. This needs to be called out every now & again.
Preferably they will also have knowledge in areas that you don’t so that they can help you learn new things. Knowledge really can be half the battle.
And after years of supporting adults to love and trust themselves, I stand by my belief that the person whose love you need the most is your own & our Heavenly Father’s.
From this place I have witnessed miracles of healing and change & I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that faith is all powerful. Do you have a deep faith? If not, why not?
This doesn’t mean you can’t, & won’t, still be lonely or afraid or in struggle. It means that you shift HOW you view your struggles & pain, and the information it’s providing you.
Praying for support can help shift a situation into a new experience. It can also bring you clarity and peace. We are much more capable of handling life’s bumpy roads with the resiliency a faithful heart than with a confused one. I choose to believe that everything is happening for me, not to me, and I can find my way forward somehow no matter how stuck I feel.
You can call this practicing radical responsibility, or the avoidance of being stuck in a victim role long term. Whatever you want to call it, think of it as getting knocked down lots of times, but always bouncing back up eventually.
With a mindset like this, we know that nothing is permanent in this life, except change and we have come here to experience this time. We may as well make the most of it.

When the energy falls away from what we’ve been focusing on…

When what we’ve been striving for no longer fits, it’s not defeat, it’s progress. Our mind does not always lead the way. Sometimes things are divinely shifted out of our hands.
Having trust in a Higher Power, for me that’s Our Heavenly Father, brings me peace and reminds me I’m not in this alone. I’m supported from above. And sometimes that support moves me in an unexpected way.
Let go. And go do something to get out of your head.
Action is medicine in times like these.

I’ve gone back to my old roots of fiat mining in retail. This is after decades of working for myself , building and running bricks and mortar wellness centres and running global retreats with my besties.
I won’t lie, I’m embarrassed every time someone I know walks into the shop where I’m working. It’s hard. I feel like I look like a failure to others.
And despite walking my own walk, making great financial choices as an early adopter and being my own cheerleader, this stings. Sure it’s an honest way to make fiat and pay the bills, but after years of tying my passion to my work as a therapist / educator, this work feels stale.
I keep thinking about my next moves & the vision is muddy, like when big winds come up and muddy the visibility while snorkelling in the sea. It makes it hard to see anything.
It’s times like these that the strategy I recommend to others and myself is:
Practice being ok with not needing to know the whole picture.
Just figure out one or two things that are the next things you have energy for.
For me, I’m starting a GO FUND ME for someone I admire doing great things in the world, who’s in need of a home.
Next, I’ve offered to volunteer my admin skills to a Bitcoin backed organisation, in Australia.
I’m also excited to connect with more community members & to soon be chatting with @nprofile…q420 and attend my local Bitcoin Meetup hosted by my dear mate, after missing them for the past 16 months while travelling with my homeschooling family.
One of the hardest things can be getting stuck in our minds yet action will move us forward. One small action at a time. Send that email, DM that person, do that research. It will all move you forward.

We are walking talking, breathing, eating sponges. We are designed to be soaking up everything around us in an interconnected web of life.
And our spirituality is the filter system for our beliefs, harmony protection and support.
Filtration systems clear out all the waste and product that we don’t need.
We have fitting systems for digestion, our skin , etc.
And the filtration system I use for my spiritual health is God, though you may use a different name?
We live in a world in which a higher power exists.
Einstein called all energy, love.
But not everything inside or outside of us is fused or grounded in love. Just like not everything we eat is good for us, not everything we think is good for us, not everything inside or outside of us is healthy for us in spiritual ways either.
Using a conscious filtering system to remove, clear & take away all that is not healthy for you is a huge step in advancement.
Some use prayer, meditation, affirmation, time spent releasing to God through thoughts, emotions and words.
I’ve often spoken to God & felt His response. Especially when I’m out in nature He created. And when I’m feeling scared, lost, confused, lonely, ashamed or defeated, I call out to Him for help.
I never want to be without His support. Because life is so hard sometimes. We all get knocked down. He is there with me in my good times & bad. He is the most important relationship in my life.
Not sure if anyone reading this needs any inspiration or reminder but if you are feeling broken, defeated, confused or alone - call out to Him. Ask him to direct you, to remove all obstacles from his path for you. Keep leaning in, trusting in Him, and waiting until it all makes sense. He’s got you.
I’ve been struggling the last couple months. Health issues - an infected root canal - get yours checked with a 3D cone scan as 99% of them can become infected. I’ve got severe anaemia, have stacked on heaps of weight (again) and sleep apnea issues due to the weight gain.
I’ve given up my business because all I want to do is be involved in projects that build on Bitcoin & make our world better while building connections with likeminded people that matter.
I’m currently just working casually while I pray & wait for clarity of what God has planned for me next. 😵‍💫
Nothing feels clear or concise but I know how to do this. How to allow the time I need to gain clarity, without rushing in just trying to fill this space with false action.
Lord, may you direct me and those reading this post with clarity of action and the ability to see with Your eyes, and think with Your mind. For we are all trying to find our way in this world. Amen

Been visiting some epic places - slow travelling as a family…
Swimming with huge sea turtles, watching them return home for mating season, seeing the females build nests in the sand dunes and lay their eggs, to hatch in January.
No tours, just a map, some knowledge from helpful locals, and a willingness to put the effort in.
We hung out for 4.5 hours, just us and the turtles…

Living on Freedom $
I no longer own a house I feel compelled to spend money on trying to ‘fix it up or repair’.
I no longer feel compelled to collect more homewares, decorations and the like.
I no longer care about buying better/ nicer/ more luxurious furniture.
I simply have much less focus and drive for all these things that played a huge part in my life for decades.
It feels surreal.
Now I am focusing on getting my true house in order - my health.
Like getting in a 2 hour walk in nature & getting as much sun on my skin as possible.
Funny how freedom $ evolves us into more of our Highest Good.

I invested 4500$ cash I’d managed to save, into a World of Women nft. and got crazy into the whole scene in 2020. I was earning more from trading than from my business so went into it full time.
Managed to earn 100$k within months, then lost it all. That was more money than I’d ever seen or thought possible.
I also got rugged pulled by a team I started running a community for and they tried to pass me off as the founder. It was so awful, and terrifying. I was way over my head, the writing was on the wall, and I felt defeated by it all.
Then a friend sat me down over coffee and told me about Bitcoin.
Years later, my entire life has changed.
Homeschooling, slow travelling, investing in open source and trying to put my time and money into what I believe in.
I learned so much through the entire experience and I include it as the start of my journey into the Global Free Market.
I pray that ppl like this guy find a way to recover their losses, and their faith in something better.

Remove money as a motivator and your desires look quite different.
Here’s a great awareness exercise:
Taking time out while on a walk or during a reflective moment you can find in your day…
And ask yourself, to consider if the things that you’ve aspired to do to make money up until now, are things you wld still want to do if you didn’t need the money.
A deep dive into your own desires and motivations provides yourself with value.
A friend of mine just got a keynote speaking engagement worth a great chunk of fiat that takes me currently 3 weeks to earn.
But she told me how she goes into flight or fight as soon as the gig is booked until she’s walking off the stage. And I know I would feel the same way- stressed. I used to design , sell then host wellness retreats for women internationally. And the pressure and stress I held during the entire process saw me losing out on family connection and inner peace. When I’m stressed I can’t be present.
At one stage in the past, I would envy her ‘success’ in being paid to speak.
But today I realised that I’ve spent the first half of my life up until now, doing things that I don’t want to do but I THOUGHT I wanted to do. Just to make money.
Remove money as a motivator and your desires look quite different.
How do yours change or shift?
You may need to ponder this over time. Developing deeper self awareness is like cooking a homemade pasta sauce, the slower it simmers the better the flavour. No need to rush the process.
I know I want to help rescue dogs and still have a purpose in leaving this world better off than when I left it.
But the vehicle for doing so has flipped on its hood.
I want quiet, community, bush and being of service. I don’t want spotlights or audiences. Not anymore.

My work mate was bragging about how she’s ’done everything right’ by midlife:
*working hard
*saving in dollars
*purchasing multiple homes
*owning 5 cars
It made me reflect that she followed the boomers example, the ones her parents set.
And that makes sense to me because I’ve watched many of my friends and work colleagues over the decades put their heads down and get stuck into work, saving, and then the holy grail of getting a mortgage debt.
It was what I always wished I cld do, yet my heart was just never into work as my priority.
As a result, I’ve never been as financially well off as those who have followed in the footsteps of the majority of boomers - work your entire life, then retire.
It feels odd listening to my colleague tell me with great pride that she has done the best with her life because of these specific achievements…when I’ve been turning my back on all of them.
I wonder how #Bitcoin will change how she feels in 5 or 10 years, if at all?

Did you know that sniffing relaxes dogs and supports them in learning how to be less reactive to stimulation?
Less barking at ppl or other dogs , less pulling on the lead, etc.
