The daemon would need access to the user's signer / nsec to create the auth events.
Since Alice creates the auth event, Bobs blossom server would need to have an "account" for Alice.
Wouldn't it be simpler to give the Daemon's their own keys - then you don't need to relay the auth events at all.

Yeah there are two kinds of comments. In nostube I use kind 1111 which is meant for general comments for all kind of nostr content while other clients use "social media replies" (kind 1). I hope we can harmonize that.
For now I only show zaps in the timeline, but I think I could also list them as comments with a zap badge, similar to "youtube thanks".

It should run on MX Linux when using the installer. At this point there is no need to set it up as a system service. First step is to figure out of the transcoding works. Which nvidia drivers and which ffmpeg version works. I don't have that hardware setup myself at the moment.

nostube uses nevent for readonly videos 21, 22 and naddr for editable kind 34235/34236. I think it's necessary to have the author and relays encoded in the link, to be able to find the videos on custom relays.
I was more worried about the part before it .. /video/ or /v/ or ...? 😂

yes, but only after downloading all events. Only the single letter-tags are indexed by the relays. That's why you can do a query e.g. for t=sometag but not for video=something. One would need to download all events and then check client side.

Not sure if it's good to put the videos in the 36787 audio kind.
I definitely want music videos on nostube, but with the current format I can not easily filter audio events for video content.

It might also make sense du adapt the imeta tags. Maybe even for different audio formats (mp3 / flac) but especially for multiple urls (redundancy). It would also be good to add x tag for blossom sha265.
Have a look a NIP-32 for the L=ISO-639-1 spec to tag languages. That would allow filtering in a standard way.
Great to see we are moving forward on the audio front.

Yes I had seen your project … still have to check out your code. I have not fully included HLS in Nostube yet. Trying to figure out what is the best codec compatibility vs. space requirements and thinking of adding AES encryption to the blossom blobs. I have noticed you are using kind 1 comments for the videos. May I suggest using NIP-22 (kind 1111) comments instead. I think that would improve compatibility with other clients and is more fitting for video clients.
