So glad, that I have my lady at my side. I was single for a longer time before. Just in recent years finally back in a relationship that still needs a lot of work however. But you really need someone capable next to you that puts you in your place every once in a while. I got complacent on many levels. It's these things I love the most about her. I think a lot of what is happening in modern life is too much abstraction. We delegate. We focus on our 9 to 5s. And yet we are treading on water. We need to take back what is important. Cooking for loved ones. It grounds us. It humbles. Local and seasonal produce also helps to reset that we can have everything at any time. You are starting to be tuned more to the seasons again appreciate the differences. We lost so much over the last 30-40 years.

My goomar still doesn't take my Bitcoin strategy as the rational endeavour it is. But I am not going to bend over.
I also don't want to make plans on her behalf. I do this to offer optionality. I hope it materializes. I do have conviction but I also need her to figure that I am directionally correct. She understands inflation way more than anyone of my friends. She has real estate and comes prepared for battle. I am happy to build something beautiful. People like her are hard to find in the current world. Like a needle in the hay stack. I consider myself lucky.
