I'm trying to reverse engineer a eurorack mixer to recreate on a breadboard. It uses power to run an op amp, and it used both of its +12v and -12v rails to power it. I guess the follow up question is that does VCC- need to go to negative whatever voltage I input or can it just go to ground?

ahh yeah another bodge from the previous owner.
Went to replace the drain/trap under the kitchen sink (belfast type) and it was on so tight that it broke while removing
When we removed the sink waste we discovered that it was the WRONG size for the sink and the previous owner had just bodged it in place with loads of silicon sealant and a metal plate. 🙃
now we need to get a replacement waste for the sink

Wonderful piece of art by @npub1q50…p7aw of myself (werewolf, ofc) holding a Commodore Amiga 500.
It came with the "Screen Gems" pack, which means that I got it for Christmas 1990, and it also came with the "Astra Pack" of games, as did a lot of other bundles sold my local shops out of the pages of Amiga Format (I think First Choice Computers in Leeds)
I had that A500 for over a decade and sold it when I needed some money. Worst decision I ever made. ^^;
Thankfully I do own another one now <3

A big problem of having fictives is being able to understand and accept that others may see that fictional character in a very different way and to then not take that personally.
That took me a bit to settle into a good place, even if I still get some oof feelings ^^;

Suddenly remembering two utility/scene disks that I had for my Commodore Amiga, and search engines are proving fruitless.
One I think was called "Mickey Mutant" and the boot screen had artwork of a woman with a snake, and the other was "Inspector Gadget's Utility Disk".
I remember being a bit scared by the former, for some reason (maybe the music? I was a child, lol) but the latter is kinda vivid in my memories. Would love to find ADFs of them :3

Was so excited to see the full moon last night but it was so low over the horizon (only 7.6°) that it wasn't visible where I live.

Oops had a bit of a dirty food weekend (forgot to cook because hyper focusing on sorting out cameras and house work).
Still the changes I've made to my lunches and work commute are helping a lot so I'm sure I'll be back down next week ^^

On the nose 120kg is kinda nice! The home made lunches are REALLY making a big impact, and unlike with sandwiches I'm actually going not getting bored of them so long as I change them up every week. I might try doing a sandwich on Friday though!
Last night I happened to glance down at my chest and it didn't look as big as I'd remembered, so pretty happy with the progress!

Weight week 3: 121.8kg
Slight weight increase over last week (although over a kilo gained from Friday morning) due to eating generally more unhealthy foods over the weekend, whilst doing a film shoot. This pretty much confirms that when I'm cooking for myself I make food that's a lot healthier.

Anyone got any good ways of masking whilst wearing glasses? I've not yet been able to find a good way or properly masking without my glasses steaming up when I exhale.
