In 2003, the United States imposed tariffs on imported steel. The goal was to protect American manufacturers. But a strange thing happened: the price of the toaster increased.
Why? Because American appliance manufacturers, who used imported steel, had to pay more for the raw material. Increases that were passed on to consumers. A tariff designed to “save jobs” in one industry… caused them to lose jobs in another. According to the Peterson Institute, in 2003, 3,500 jobs were saved in the steel industry… but 200,000 were lost in the industry that depended on that steel.

Hi,
Breez is a lightning wallet I used in the past you can send sats onchain too.
Getalby doesn't work onchain.

Yes. This is why I was asking. Wondering if there is an alternative to a 2-steps transfer. It's really about a few sats, so not really willing to waste them with fees. I was thinking to bridge via a Breez wallet, but receiving on-chain seems too explensive for such a small amount
