But given this model, we get very rich chatbot hosters with a user base which will grow till it reaches 100%. For the whole system, it's a drain, but for the chatbot makers, it's a win.
Edit: This of course doesn't change the point you're making. The point I was trying to make, is that “nobody” cares about the system as a whole, especially not the chatbot brigade, who view externalities as always somebody else's problem.

Eg klarer gjera sosiale bommertar dei fleste stader, og Mastodon er ikkje noko unnatak. :)
Mi meining: Sånn generelt skulle eg ønske folk brukte æøå meir i domenenamn, men mange oppsett (klippelim ut av browseren, veldig ofte) skjuler jo ikkje IDN heilt, og da er vel ikkje alle like glade for det. Meir spesifikt likte eg tanken på at sjølvstendig.no skulle verte snappa opp til noko nyttig, heller enn av mindre trivelege folk som liker fylle ordet med sin eigen definisjon.

I find “I just want to post in piece” a slightly absurd position in general. Sure, if you just post for your followers or quiet public (in Mastodon terms), I get it. But, if you use tags, then it's the same logic as with commercials: I demand talking to you, but don't you dare talk back!

Hm, trur eg har sett det på butikken nyleg? … Joda, framleis i produksjon: https://orklafoods.no/produkter/svolvaerpostei-2/ Og vanlege mistenkte i daglegvarebransjen har det i nettbutikkane sine. Eg er veldig glad i svolværpostei, men har endt ikkje kjøpe det på lenge av di mengden miljøgifter i fiskelever har fått meg til miste lysten på det.
