At 4 a.m. today, my girlfriend began experiencing severe pain; that was exactly when the biological process of expelling the baby started. She passed very large clots, and by around 6 a.m., the pain had become unbearable for her (even though she had taken two hyoscine pills for it).
Just before 7 a.m., she started vomiting, and we had to call a nurse who lives in the same building. The nurse set up an IV line and administered saline solution, pain medication, and anti nausea medication. Despite this, her symptoms continued to worsen, and around 8 a.m., she experienced heavy bleeding; I had to call the doctor because her condition was rapidly deteriorating.

We rushed to the doctor's office and had to wait for the anesthesiologist to arrive. It was the longest wait of my life, seeing how terrible my girlfriend felt, she was pale, her blood pressure had dropped, and she was barely conscious. Finally, the anesthesiologist arrived; having the IV line already in place sped things up, and the doctor acted quickly to begin the D&C procedure. It lasted about 30 minutes, after which we were allowed back in to see her, by then, she was so exhausted that it was difficult to wake her from the anesthesia.

While we waited for her to wake up, she was given two bags of IV fluids for rehydration, as she had vomited more than 15 times.
After another 30-minute wait, I paid the agreed upon ( $400) and the doctor gave us the prescriptions for my girlfriend's recovery (3 days of strict bed rest, plus antibiotics, a stomach protector, and painkillers).
Finally, she was discharged and we were able to go home; she was still sedated and unable to walk, so we had to take her out in a wheelchair.

It was a painful process for her and a distressing one for everyone involved.
Upon arriving home, she was still nauseous and vomited a couple more times, but then she fell asleep.
It has been over five hours now; she is stable and able to speak without vomiting again.

We just had a miscarriage 😭 My girlfriend started bleeding and we immediately went to the doctor. He explained that the baby's heart didn't fully develop and that her body had already begun the expulsion process.
The doctor examined the baby and, given its size, it's unlikely it will go out on its own, so they need to perform a D&C, which costs $350.

I took this photo yesterday when we found out. We were sitting there full of emotions, and when we realized it, our three cats were there with us at that moment.
The pregnancy test results indicate that she/he is only 3 weeks along.

Two days ago, everything was finally ready to test the station for the first time with a real audience. I offered the service free of charge to a restaurant to advertise and test everything in real time. For a first attempt, it was a complete success.

This time I realized I still need a few things to keep improving, like my own folding table so I don't have to rely on the one the venue provides, I need retractable tape (like the kind banks use) to mark off the photographer's space and prevent anyone from knocking over my equipment, and I should add a monitor so people can see the photos in full size before they're printed. These are all things I'll gradually buy as I continue providing services

Greetings to all my friends in this beautiful community, today I am back with a new set of photographs that I took in my new photo studio, this time for a girl who is a nail artist and hired me because she needed to renew her professional profile photographs.
So for these photos the girl decided to use an outfit that made her look very professional and at the same time fun!
We started with a full body photo.

Then the girl asked me to take the photos a little closer so I made them to her liking, in medium plane.

And then I went on to take photos even closer, to give attention to her face and the detail of the shirt with the tie.

In these photos it is not appreciated but the girl had red hair and she looked very beautiful with this formal white clothing, it was an excellent combination!

I wanted to do a detail of her hands with the tie.

And then the girl asked me to take a photo where only half of her face could be seen, she said she would use that photo for promotional flyers.

And already at this point I suggested that we take a couple of photos using the cubes to have variety in the photographs, we started with a high one to take a full body photo.

And then I put the sitting cubes, for these photos I wanted to use the light modifier to create interesting effects, the result was very good.

I took all the photos with my Canon R8 camera, a 50mm lens at 4/f and two light points.

Greetings to all my friends in this beautiful community, today I bring you a new set of photographs that I took in my studio, on this occasion for a girl and her husband, who hired my services because they wanted to do a maternity photo session.
We started by taking photos of both together since that way they would both feel more confident in front of the camera, and I was guiding them with the poses all the time to make these very beautiful photos.

Greetings to all my friends in this beautiful community, today I want to share with you a new set of photographs that I took in my studio for some guys who hired my services because they wanted to do a photo session to have professional images of the perfumes they sell.
I started by photographing the store owner since he had the idea very clear in his mind and that way we established the lighting standard and how he wanted the following photos to look.

Very quickly I noticed that I could take a good photo with the texture of the guy's flannel:

Today I am back with a new set of photographs, in this occasion they are photos that I consider "extras" because I took them a day that I was doing a wedding but they are photos that I cannot include in the deliverable since they were things that caught my attention and maybe it was not what the couple wanted but I still took the opportunity to take them.
I want to start with one of my favorite photos, this photo came out while I was covering the most important moment of the wedding, I took the photo of the kiss (correctly) and just when I was going to change the camera to video mode the camera fired and this blurry photo came out but it turned out to be quite interesting.

Venezuela has a really messed up economy, and for that reason, I always try to have emergency savings to cover at least two months of my necessary expenses. But this month has been tough, with one thing after another happening, and I've had to use savings to cover fires. On another side of the city I saw a cow eating grass if you see the photo without context you might think that everything was fine and it is a normal photo of the countryside but no!
The truth is that the cow was in the middle of the city on an island and the water that is seen below was from a broken pipe that created that pool of water.

At another point in the city I saw a scene that formed an epic photo I would have liked to take the photo without the railing in the middle but it still manages to tell the story and if we analyze it the railing manages to give more attention to the "bad" part of the story when you see the bottom you understand everything.

Several weeks ago I had to go to a farm to do a photographic job and being in that place I saw some impressive cows and bulls they were gigantic and for that reason they caught my attention so I decided to get closer to take some photos.

And at this point the girl changed her clothes for the second part of the photo session and although we took quite a few photos with that outfit I will only show you my favorite photo.

I took all the photos with my Canon R8 camera a 50mm 1.8 f lens and two light points.
At the end of the photo session both the girl and I were super happy with the results and I hope you like them as much as we do!!
