I run it in a container, I don't trust that shit on my system no matter how many layers of approval and sandboxing it claims to have. Its functional, and can be marginally useful, but I'm getting pretty fed up how constantly broken it is.

pretty sure this is already possible with torrents. (you can tell your client to only download certain files, but theoretically it could be granular down to the chunk)
i think the missing piece is that peers don't advertise what chunks they have, so a client would have to connect to a bunch of seeders to ask each one if it has a particular chunk.
