oh so this might perhaps be the issue you were running into? I also tried installing Calf and could not find it listed in Carla.
I then uninstalled Calf and Cardinal, and then installed (via the terminal) the 24.08 branch/version. and voila, it suddenly works. The 25.08 ones for some reasons do not work and I am not sure why.

I was able to install Carla and Cardinal from the software center on SteamOS Steam Deck. (I actually decided to do a fresh install of Bazzite today but decided to do regular SteamOS at first just to see if I would run into any problems with Carla/Cardinal)
With that said, I am not able to see Cardinal listed in Carla.
What exact problem did you run into and how?

Haha yeah. I've technically made more from people pirating my music. That's at least officially at $0 (but potentially at a +), while the streaming services is probably around 700 USD in minus.

Technically you've probably made more than me. The majority of these 67 dollars was an indonesian band that asked me to release one of their albums. After releasing it I realized they were like 1000 times larger (following wise) than any of the bands I had released music by in the past, combined. :P (and yet, it was only enough to get like 40-50 dollars. sigh...)

After reading this I decided to check out my distrokid account for my music and my record label. Been meaning to delete at least my stuff there for a while but maybe keep music released by others via my record label.
Well, looks like they took all my stuff offline because I forgot to update my credit card details.
oh no.. what a shame. <3
PS: For those interested, between 2015 to 2025 I got around 67 USD from Distrokid for both my music and my record label. Distrokid costs around 75 USD per year if I remember correctly. So yeah...

hah! yes. The lisp effect is very noticable but the main thing for me is that not all "th" in English are the same. The (icelandic) Þ only accounts for a portion of them. Others are more similar to the Icelandic letter Ð (ð, eth). For example "The" would probably be closer to Ðe than Þe. So when I was reading your posts I was reading them with the "harsh" Þ which made words like "The" sound quite weird.
Examples of Þ and Ð words in English based on my limited english knowledge and my non native dialect. Icelandic words in paranthesis for fun and for showcasing the similarities between the two languages:
- Thin = Þin (Þunn)
- Thick = Þick (Þykk)
- Thief = Þief (Þjófur)
- Tether = Teðer (Tjóðra)
- The = Ðe (N/A)
- That = Ðat (Þetta)
- This = Ðis (Þetta)
- There = Ðere (Þarna)
...etc
PS: Oddly enough, there is a rule in Icelandic that says no word can start with the letter Ð. So seeing "Ðe" feels weird grammatically. But it does not make it in anyway less pronouncable.

As a native icelandic speaker reading your recent posts here and on IZZZZI is tripping up my brain and is also making me pronounce the words that have Þ in them in a weird way as I read them in my head. I usually have to do a double take.
I love it.
