Rant warning
My coworker said the barista at the local coffee shop said she needed another man in her life. This was after months of her and I flirting back and forth, so I thought great she is single and maybe she meant for this to get back to me. I asked her out and she did this nervous studder that happens when you like someone. 😁
The date went great, we talked about her new business she was starting and her kid among other things. Over the next couple of weeks she never seemed to have time and ghosted me one time. The next time I saw her she said she had been sick, so I thought nothing of it. Besides with the kid and business I figured she was busy
Another week passed and I mentioned to my other coworker that i wanted to make it over and talk to her because she just got a trailer for her business, but we were very busy that day and I didn't make it. He said you like her don't you? I said yes, but she is sending mixed signals and never has time. He said 'you dont care about her boyfriend?' then confirmed it on her facebook account (I dont have one)
I got very pissed off 😡, mostly at myself for not putting it together. After 3 days I realized I dodged a bullet and calmed down because she would have cheated on me eventually. Apparently 'another man in her life' meant a sidepiece or backup plan. 😮‍💨 why am I so bad at dating. I need a 🫂
Now I turning this fiasco into a good thing. I have started the self improvement program 75 hard. Part of this 75 day challenge for me is giving up caffeine and marijuana. The first self improvement book I chose for this program is Positive Intelligence. This helped so much, I'll post a review soon. It is about minimizing your inner judge and saboteurs and channeling your inner sage. A couple weeks in, I am already seeing physical gains and have hit a new personal record of 17 pull ups in one set 💪.
I am convinced this among other things was a test from God. Anything you are convinced is negative can be turned into a good thing with the right mindset. Thanks for making it through my rant. Dont date flirty baristas or bartenders 😂

Breathe with your diaphragm, not your chest. You will be more calm and can think more clearly. This also benefits digestion by gently massaging your digestive tract.
Chest breathing puts you into 'fight or flight' mode i.e. stress
This will take practice and time to build the diaphragm muscle
