I installed Arch once. I think it was too hard for me to use after mostly using ubuntu variations like mint. I like mint well enough, I'll probably just use that again.

IDK if this is a euphemism for something else but ranching animals is unironically my intention. I think most small scale farmers are DIYers and therefore many of them know how to code quite well, though, if you're implying farmers are dumb yokels.

Xitter's biggest advantage over the fedi is that it has a consistent UX. That UX is dogshit, but so is the fedi's. Having different front ends, back ends, and confusing compatibility issues between all the front ends and back ends is probably the main issue holding the fedi back from turning Melon Husk's 40B of xitter stonks into toilet paper. I'm not a coder, I don't want to code, I don't even want to run Linux (though I'll probably have to soon).

I was talking about misskey and how much better it was than the other frontends on discord and I guess it made @macguffin nostalgic or something because he signed up for neondystopia.world. But they had a tism fit over the nigger word, so we looked for another english language misskey instance that was based and macguffin found this one.

I've never set one up. This one is run by @npub1kel…pp8g. It's just that it only had two users until me and macguffin came here and started using it. Making a fedi sharty might be something I could do when I get my own house set up and some power generation on site. Moderating against spam and illegal content sounds like a chore thobeitever.
