Check out Lofty Pursuits https://pd.net. They’re a small candy maker in Florida doing some of the most innovative stuff I’ve found in the space. They have a Wonka inspired “feast” with candied ham, sweet potato casserole, corn, and pecan flavors that are rad. Their recent foray into freeze dried candies has been inspiring and the Tupelo honeycomb they recently introduced is incredible. It’s sold out but I hope they’ll make more. Their email newsletters are fun and they’re passionate about candy. Great small business ☺️

Ha, right? This feels like the thing that we’re not supposed to talk about. Yet all of nostr is zaps zaps zaps. My next research is around why the Alby extension disappeared from Safari after being introduced last year. There are GitHub mentions of the feature but nothing about why it was pulled. For a company that seems to care so much about privacy (ie Advanced Data Protection end-to-end encryption) Apple sure does hinder newer types of digital experiences— Shenanigans! 🤪

Indeed. Primal NWC implementation is for their wallet to be able to be connected to other apps. I’m still skeptical of their wallet because it sure looks like KYC requirements to me. Asking for birthday, email etc. So a primal wallet isn’t self-custody like AlbyHub. Primal still doesn’t allow you to connect your own NWC wallet. I’m glad Damus does. As an iOS user there seems to be a whole lot of “how do we get around this” from nostr devs and a whole lot of different methods being tested. YakiHonne feels the most correct but maybe they’re small enough that Apple hasn’t caught on yet. 🤷‍♀️

Have you ever read any Michael Singer? (Also has great Podcasts) He articulates spirituality so well imo. For some reason the way he speaks about it has resonated more with me than any other teacher I have found. Haven’t read this particular book you’re referencing but completely agree with the wording here. Spirituality has become so important in my life. Appreciate you sharing!

Is it just me or are zaps in Damus super odd? When I scroll the feed I see blanks where the zap count should be. Then if I click into the note all of a sudden the zap count appears, and when I return to the feed the zap count is visible for that post, but zap counts are blank on other notes. Even though I have Alby setup and confirmed working I can’t zap a post. I can only zap profiles. Is this expected behavior? Other nostr clients don’t behave this way. Zapping on Yakihonne performs just as I would expect and I can zap a post. Feels like a bug but uninstalling and signing in again shows the same behavior. What am I missing? #asknostr
