Long before Pepe was a thing, William J. Kolomyjec (b. 1947) got inspired by his friend Charles Csuri and came up with the idea of Frog Pong.
Coded in FORTRAN on a CDC 6500 mainframe (super) computer and plotted out a Calcomp 936 drum plotter at Michigan State University during the artist's MFA/PhD studies.

"The number of works created in the last 20 years that sold for over $1 million fell by almost a third, to 117 works in 2025. if they decide to study Bitcoin further my next suggestion is to try a lighting wallet. EVERYTHING but the self custody (which is the last level). A year ago it would've been the other way around.

The record sale of Gustav Klimt’s painting (second only to Salvator Mundi) shows that art never dies. Do you agree the same is true for art on Bitcoin? Interestingly, a 300-year-old museum that houses many Klimt masterpieces has indeed collected and promoted Bitcoin based art.

It’s time to set my first full bitcoin node up. And, why not, also a Nostr relay. I wonder if a Raspberry Pi 5 16GB is too much or not. Umbrel 2TB would be my go to, but it’s to pricy. Any thoughts?

I mentioned the fees because this is easily replicable even with fees, making it extremely convenient and attractive. I am thinking do start this journey myself :) despite I do have different DCAs. I still find it as a completely different and much more beautiful approach :)

Arrangements: a collaboration between the award-winning visual poet Ana María Caballero and the UNESCO Francisco Carolinum Museum, Linz. The 130-year-old institution wanted to celebrate the 200th anniversary of composer Anton Bruckner’s birth. The visuals are curated by the generative artist Harto, and (most importantly) everything is inscribed in Bitcoin for preservation.
There's a lot more to uncover about this stunning work (824 unique pieces) both on the artistic and the technical side...

I am extremely frustrated by the EU, UK, and Irish regulators. With the exception for UK, and maybe Ireland, that's all what we export.
Regulations.
The path is clear: KYC for every Social Media.
As long as Nostr and Farcaster exist (sorry but we need all the options) I am fine.

Hey everyone, Luke here! First encountered Bitcoin back in 2010 when colleagues mined it on clunky old PCs. Dismissed it as a scam and ignored it for years. Until 2020, when it crashed to $7K. Dipped my toes in it, bought some sats, and dove into Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum’s smart contracts. That’s when I started collecting digital art. Fast forward five years, collaborating with artists and galleries. And I’m on Nostr, hooked on decentralization, innovation, and supporting artists thriving in a medium built for their generation. Still haven’t set up that Bitcoin full node, though—working on it!
