I tried this setup some time ago and I had many troubles in the sync process, and it usually requires some time or actions (force the sync) to success.
Manent's use case is a little different: share chunks of text and files *instantly*, while preserving an handy archive. Think of it more as a quick notebook for jotting down notes, rather than a fully organized knowledge system.
Finally, while Obsidian is a great piece of software for sure, it is not opensource; and to use Syncthing outside a lan you actually need a server (provided by them transparently, like Manet offer some public relays).

Thank you for the kind feedback!
I also thought about a simple tags feature, maybe based con colors; I need to evaluate it very well and plan an unobtrusive approach, since I want to keep the app really simple and straightforward, without too many stuff.
No sure about the shorten view, I'm also are experiencing a little frustration while the notes increase; here too, I have to meditate a balanced solution on some real use cases, after experiencing the real pain myself :)

I want a simple, fast and self sovereign note taking experience. Even if I don't usually like the paradigm of "Nostr as a database", it fits quite well into this small personal tool that can make your personal relays even more useful.

It's a note app, not a messaging one, so there isn't any risk.
Anyway, Nostr NIP-17 private messages use gift wraps (NIP-59), so they don't leak any metadata.
One more note: a relay operator cannot know anything more than a casual person that access the relay.

Yes there is a bug in web/mobile, it reacts to right click.
I will check the door tap issue.
Files are encrypted with a random AES key, the key is stored in the encrypted payload of kind 33302, along with the final URL and other metadata.
Instead files with a size below 32KB are base64 encoded in the event.
I will allow to pick specific relays from the outbox selection, and maybe adding approval ones.

What do you mean with "inside keychat"?
Everything is encrypted and no metadata are exposed, by default it uses your write relays (or a couple of fallback if no one of your relays accept kind 33301/2).
You can add personal.relays.land to your relays, and it will be used.

Moving stuff is one of my use cases, for example when I reinstall a phone.
In fact small files (< 32KB, like config, credentials backup, etc) are directly encoded inside the event, so you don't even need a blossom server.

For what? Search or network?
Unless you have a niche target audience and are able to tailor your campaign very well, it's a bloodbath. Then in the last years they forced an annoying autopilot-mode, removing the possibility to precisely control the keywords matching, so you are basically feeding and blind trusting the algorithm. An the algorithm wants a solid budget just to start running your ads.

This is something that is very hard to achieve purely client side, since it is data and cpu intensive.
About the visualization: graphs are cool, but they should really offer a useful perspective, and I don't see much possible innovations here; a graph of names/pictures is quite useless without any segmentation about interests and activity patterns.
A WoT score like Coracle.social could probably be sufficient to highlight contacts that have a good trust level.

Yes, respecting the user's choice is usually the right approach. But I really cannot see why someone should want to share a client URL instead of a Nostr event, within a Nostr client. The only case I can imagine is to point out a specific web page for debugging purposes, but this is an obvious exception, so a conversion by default seems the more sensible and useful approach.

I obviously agree about the importance of a good UX. But it cannot replace knowing and picking the right values (=features) in the first place.
A great UX should alleviate the pain that necessarily a new protocol introduce, and we should treat users with respect creating a dialogue around these values, don't just try to attract them with easy and appealing solutions. We win explaining what matters, why it matters, and offering good software that makes that obvious and enjoyable.

You are right, clients should use nprofile1 too; but this less problematic since profiles are "stable" and the kind:0 are usually spread across many known general purpose relays, while note locations can change during the time, and are related to the user's outbox preferences.
Anyway, the OP's note has a `q` tag without any relay detail, so it is useless for what I'm talking about, retrievability.

In ogni caso, invece che caricare tutto, dovrebbe essere sufficiente fare un refresh con l'apposita icona in alto a destra del feed.
