do you actually put a target at three yards?
My normal routine is 50 rounds 15 yards, then do double-tap drill at 7.5 yards
(double-tap drill is gun down, round chambered, safety off, hammer down. pick it up, paint target with front post, fire, fire second shot with body mechanics. first shot should be close to center, second shot should be in within 6 inches)
If I've gotten good with something I'd push out to 25 yards and shoot bulleyes (92FS) but that was long ago
