Why do we use the doublespeak terms for bitcoin?
There is no "self custody" or "custodial/non custodial" Bitcoin. Either you own bitcoin or you dont't. It is that simple.
If you do not control the keys you have an IOU:
ETFs: you own a promise
Coinbase/Binance: you own a promise
Some other regulated institution/agency: you own a promise
"Custodial wallet/service": you own a promise
There is no such thing as owning bitcoin on an exchange or an ETF.

Do not forget: Bitcoin is anti-fragile and grows the most after it has been attacked
For example: After years of no real progress in L2 work (apart from lnd) there was a boom of new proposals(fedimint, cashu, Ark, mercury layer) and discussions for improvements (covenants, payment pools). This boom came only after there was real felt pain when the fees were high and the mempool did not clear anymore, because of the "NFT on bitcoin" shenanigans.
Now imagine what technologies will sprout after the shut down of the centralized coinjoin coordinators.
Usable joinmarket, more payjoin adoption? Maybe Tor only Lightning nodes and chaumian ecash mints? Or something completely new.

Yes I noticed that there are many bots now on nostr. These bots are commenting with insults and racist comments. It seems like a big attack on the network to be honest. Interesting to see how these attacks can be mitigated.

Why is this bad? It is like a donation to all the people that hold bitcoin. So your bitcoin are worth more. The "attacking" miners are subsidizing the honest miners this way. Also dust amounts are easily filtered in the UTXO set. The only downside is a temporary spike in fees. If this is an attack, it is a badly thought out attack.

This is good enough for me.
I think the use case of mixing a third party wallet without first transferring to a new Wasabi wallet is a big one. Especially when fees are high and there are many small UTXOs. Transferring would correlate the UTXOs which will greatly reduce backwards privacy before mixing.
Thank you for working on bitcoin fungibility. Wasabi is an amazing wallet.

Thanks for the info. I did not know that this is possible.
Is there a way to combine multiple Wasabi Wallets for Coinjoining or add a seed to an existing wallet? This way one could mix a bad bank wallet with a greater anonymity set. For example adding a Samourai Wallet to an existing (already mixed) wallet and using "red coin isolation".
