I was at PravConf last week, I traveled like more than 100 hours in total for this (almost whole India). It was amazing.
- Clicked awesome pictures with @npub188m…kczn
- gave talks,
- talked with lots of new people
- helped in organizing the conference
- cut stickers (some of them were not even used :neofox_pensive:)
- ran a workshop on hosting a xmpp server on raspberry pi along with @npub1fw5…p4dp :berd:
- showed cool android apps to folks
- flexed my keyboard ( it is invisible :ashinobu_dab:)
- showcased my keitai (flip phone)
- acquired transparent umbrella :neofox_sign_aaa:
- solo traveled to kanniyakumari :moomin_eyes:
- Had random fun with @npub1vq8…cdzl @npub1lfv…30kl, Vishnu, Abhijeet, kannan, Ranjith, Ganesh, Nik :moomin_hattifatteners:
- had amazing south indian food
- made friends :moomin_flower:
- ate home made food (I felt so happy at that time)
- learnt so many new things

I could go on and on, so let's stop here, but I would like to thank everyone who made me feel so welcomed there, especially @npub1pt0…kujp for just being there at every point and the food was awesome :tealheart:

It is with great pleasure I announce that I have finally published my MiniDebConf experience post :moomin_butterfly:, Its been sitting in a local directory for over 2 months :neofox_sign_aaa:. With this I have also moved my forest to a new theme :moomin_flower:. And one other thing, Its now 100% Emacs, yes... EMACS my beloved! :tealheart:. I put a lot of work into this, writing a post is very hard, I am very bad at articulating paragraphs but hope to get better in the future. There is also a plug for Nodus Tollens in There :ashinobu_dab:

so basically, we were planning the conference for this 6 months, and the local organizers didn't have a good team, so everything was finalized and booked but at the day of the conference, our booked classroom was given to some other conference, and we were supposed to had accommodations inside the campus itself, but it was canceled and some hotels were booked, the hotels booked by the organizer was so bad, people booked hotels on their own :/
So yeah, these were the challengs.

So I gave my "Permacomputing: A Humane computing paradigm" :tealheart: talk yesterday at minidebconf, kanpur. We had to face lot of difficulties due to the local organizers :columbo:. But in the end my talk went fine :D , I at least made one person curious about permacomputing and had lots of fun, So I guess We can conclude "Nodus Tollens" was Introduced to the world successfully :moomin_butterfly:

MAJOR ANNOUCEMENT!!!
I along with @npub1h3d…te2l have started Indian Permacomputing Collective called Nodus Tollens, and we are gonna kick things off by presenting "Permacomputing: A Humane Computing Paradigm" talk in the upcomping minidebconf, kanpur² . Please go REGISTER if can visit there.
So I asked @npub1hr9…ce28 this also want you ask you all the folks here who are more versed into permacomputing than me:
- "How should I introduce `permacomputing` to someone who is fully into current freedom destroying technologies?"
The talk will be around 15 min + 5 min for q&a.
So please give your inputs, how can I condense this very vast topic, I know this will be very hard but still I would want to make atleast someone curious about this via my talk.

back when I was visiting my village, there, farmern don't know what computers are used for, so they didn't say these stuff to me, although they were staring at me very curiously when I was using my refurbished thinkpad in middle of the fields :p

I only hear people with computers who say "I want to become a farmer, carpentar" etc. You won't hear a farmer wanting to be a computer person, It's upto you what you make of this infomation :moomin_butterfly:

Finally joined merveilles. So, here I go again, again
I am Moksh / untrusem, A kid with questions, from #India.
I am firm believer in #privacy and #security and also practice #permacomputing, My other shenanigans include #emacs, #bsd, #lisp, *nix and learning about #solarpunk. But I delve into so much things to write all of them down.
