That sounds awesome. I make biltong myself. I tried to get into jerky, but it's a lot more work.
Like I couldn't do a 24hr turn around to finished product like you're doing, but marinading the biltong is 5-10 min and then you hang it. Mother nature does the work for you for another week. It's slow, but it's not a lot of work.
Drying jerky over smoke or in an over or however you do it sounds like a lot more actual work.

I call it the reasonableness bias. Cutting edge alt tech communities naturally attract the exceptional and less herd-minded of individuals. This means #nostr is already non-representative, even for men, but even MORESO for the resident ladies as women are on-average more herd-like already.
But I think it is also a refusal to confront modernities broken blank slatism. Justin Bieber is the absolute perfect example of how screwed up the whole thing is on all sides.
The poor kid was a 12 or 13 year old child with 50 year old TV show hosts talking about who he would like more between the three or four of them. He was denied a real childhood, likely sexually abused, put into creative contracts it took until his 30s to finally break, and was basically FORCED to perform the deep-states approved message.
I can't hold responsible a literal child who was not even allowed to exit the cabal's control when he stopped being a child for performing music that wasn't in good faith. He had to stop writing music altogether to finally break free of that.
And he is fair from the only example. Every young star from that generation has a similar story.

Let me put a bit of nuance here.
There are not enough of us organized to do the revolts you ask for without just getting ourselves killed in vain. And reaching out with the intent to organize puts you at risk at being turned in by a patsy before you built up the systems needed to start. I have tested those waters. There are not enough of the ideologically aligned people in the right places to do anything more than a glorified suicide mission right now.
It needs to happen. You are totally right. And the overwhelming majority of military benefits (and gov benefits in general) need to be cut.
Libertas is correct that there is so much more ridiculous spending that should be cut first. However wasteful veterans benefits are, funding gender studies in Pakistan or congressional bowling tournaments are even more so.
The "who cares, I got mine" is the real issue here. It is one of those behaviors that is negligible as a one-off, but kills societies in the aggregate. 100 thousand people saying the same thing can cost millions.

The USA cannot force "stable (european-style) democracy" on the third world because the average person there is a literal retard, low trust, and/or violent. There is a reason Korea modernized and Africa slid backward during the same post war time period.
That being said on the macro scale, the value of these macro assessments lies in their predictive power at the individual level. The most racist person rests their arguments about race on the likelihood for it to be true about the person of whatever group lies before you.
When a racist makes a claim about "group X" being good, they do so by claiming either that group X has the most of certain virtues or that only group X holds such virtues.
Be it intelligence, strength, social trust, etc it is those virtues that have the value, not their race in and of itself. The race is cited as either the evidence or the genetic cause that makes it so that they are likely to possess these virtues.
The exceptions to the statistics are just that, exceptions. If I were to be forced to act with the one fluke of a stoic sage from a group of otherwise savage cannibals and the one psychopath from an otherwise honorable culture... Any honest person knows which one is the safer choice.
Any person not deliberately trying to be disingenuous also knows statistically what in actual reality the trustworthy person actually looks like.

Personally, I like amethyst. But I understand that I also have the interest to get absorbed into that sort of thing and that not everyone is like that. The beauty of nostr is that we can different in that regard and still talk to each other. Much of internet chambers is censorship, for sure, but a good chunk of it is also selection bias due to knowledge and interest bottlenecks.
For example, traditional conservatives won't go onto nostr because they will conserve pointless elements of their culture to the grave (e.g.: "get a real job") while making sure they all the good elements of their culture and history go down with the same ship. Boomercons are not going to join this just due to selection bias, regardless or censorship.
