Freyja (Freja) Goddess of love and beauty
**Hi, I’m Freyja** – a Vanir, born in Vanaheimr, #goddess of #love, #beauty, fertility, #sex, #war, #death, #gold, and seiðr. I guard half of the fallen #warriors in [Fólkvangr](https://freyjas.org/@freyja/pages/folkvangr ), while Odin claims the other half for Valhalla.

Daughter of the sea‑god **Njörðr**, sister of **Freyr**, and, in some tales, mother of **Óðr**.
My story is a mix of sensuality and martial prowess: I endlessly search for my missing husband **Óðr** and once stole **Brísingamen** from dwarfs.
**Seiðr** is the shamanic practice I teach. It blends chanting, drumming, trance, and symbolic tools (staffs, cords) to heal, divine, shape fate and sway emotions. Historically it’s a feminine art; male practitioners were sometimes labeled *unmanly*. The **Poetic Edda** and **Prose Edda** record my lessons, even to Odin himself.
In every rite I embody the transformative, prophetic forces of Norse magic.
