The interconnectivity of Blade 1's world for its unique shape is my favorite part of exploring it. Alrest is arguably more comfortable but broken up in a way that feels more like random islands connected by the plot. I still need to finish 3 but because of its tone Aionos/Aionion is the most actively hostile in terms of livability (basically an FPS because Takahashi spent all his free time on Battlefield 1), though I like that the interconnectedness is back in terms of exploration.
