Wasn't predicting much wrt timing, just overall trend. Doge, from what little I know about it, seems like a clear shitcoin that rode a meme investment wave back into relevance but seems unlikely to repeat that performance. At any rate, seems risky vs BTC which seems undervalue/misunderstood, while imExpertOpinion had huge value in not consistent future

Pretty apt analogy. When I go to check X on occasion, I wind up watching a fight video, a slap contest, and other random crap I never set out to watch. Almost wrote "read" there instead of "watch", and realized that's one of the big shifts, I go to read a few bits of news and am hit with eye catching videos from accounts I don't follow.

If only it were so simple. I don't have to read anything to arrive at these conclusions, I see them blasted by every tom dick and Harry on the internet. It fits decently well together, I'll grant you that, but feels overly simplistic to me, and doesn't explain why he'd run for reelection this last time around (a thought Chris Liss put out there a while back that I liked). I learned (again from the one video on AI I've watched) that training on such non-quantitative things is difficult. They use some human-ranked joke data to train on, but too much training and the RL goes off the rails and lands on edge cases it thinks are the best joke, e.g. "the the the the the the the..." lol, it's actually making me laugh now, so maybe the model is onto something.
