ya honestly not an egg snob. they are all good enough for me. but i can definitely taste the difference of the color.
luckily for me, there is some little house a few blocks down the road that sells really nice eggs for a really nice price.
my wife checks every day on her walk and picks them up when they are in.
they also sell other cool stuff like vegetable plants
i am pretty obsessed with malaysian style half boiled eggs and eat 1 every day.

your bitaxe takes a block template and nonce and hashes it. it keeps changing the nonce and hashing, looking for a hash smaller than a specific number (often described as leading with a specific number of 0s).
difficulty is an inverse representation of how small your hash is. the higher the difficulty the lower the hash.
I dont want to get in to the math of how difficulty is calculated based on how small the hash is but the important thing to know is:
if you hash a block with a difficulty higher than the network target difficulty then you have successfully found a block.
current network difficulty is about 127 T.

Ya I think ocean does lightning payouts. not sure if you have to have bolt12 recieve or lnurl for it though.
no mods on mine. I bought mine with a Noctua fan included. I run it at 100% fan speed and can’t hear it at all where it sits 4 feet away from my desk where I work 8+ hours a day.
It does an ok job cooling it. On hot days in the summer I put the bitaxe on the ground in front of my fan. It will overheat sometimes if its >80 degF without the additional circulation.

Only pool mining I have done is for the blockparties that @npub1t6e…3scu puts on.
Pool mining isn’t really worth it with such low hashrate imho. If you do, I would definitely use a pool that gives payout via lightning.

anyone else having trouble with zap.stream? (in browser)
been unable to play anything live.
all live streams show 0 viewers
all thumbnails appear as just the zap.stream logo
if i click on latest videos, all the videos are greyed out, if i scroll down far enough (around 2 weeks back) then all of a sudden all the videos are not greyed out and i can play them.
