best hire I was ever involved in was in the Windows 95, 98, NT era when PC/SC was still brand new. Getting everything "right" on a random computer for our GINA-replacement+smart card (Win CSP/Cryptoki).
I interviewed/recommended a guy who was a self-taught+MCSE admin-type who thought he wanted to be a dev. Rather, I convinced him to become our InstallShield guru and he OWNED our build process. Was the only guy to stay on after we were acquired/(and then all RIFFED in 2001).

Indeed. The maintenance is heavy. I set up my streaming VPS (now retired) a few years back, and it required a bit of digging to find the correct dependencies and 'tricks'.

What little time I've spent using AI for my insignificant podcast, the most useful/time saving use for me has been the summary generation. Is it accurate? Usually, and I can easily tweak it when needed. But the thing that it completely lacks is voice.

Nope, and/or depends. I'm not singing or playing an instrument on "It's A Mood". It's a podcast. I call it a "value4value music podcast. I throw in v4v talk, "the ask" and other bits of talk.
That's different from my "Mike's Mix Tape" which is, other than a <5 second verbal title at the beginning, 100% other people's music in a .mp3 file with VTS and chapters for wallet switching and ease of navigation/artist attribution. I can easily see that feed using medium=music.
