My first 3 good things
I am with my parents before one of them has heart surgery & another needs a potential biopsy for an otherwise conflicting radiological report.
Took a long walk past my alma mater, nothing changes but the faces... Also a walk across time, sitting waiting at the commuter train station yesterday in a place I knew some 42 years ago... So many memories. A good memory is a curse and a joy, melancholia & lovely people that influenced you across time.

Since you already did some research, which EVs are least bad on spying on people? Family gave us a 20+ year old minivan and against my advice, partner decided to get it fixed for $5400, which is now approaching 10k. I think we need to cut our losses now.
I do use an electric scooter, best kind of EV. No GPS, no telemetry.

I'll never live down the fact that 76 million Americans voted for a convicted felon, held liable for sexual violence against at least one woman.

I think Hollywood blacklisted many Jewish and non Jewish artists in the McCarthy and later eras. Now they are blacklisting anti genocide and anti apartheid artists.

I never knew what a hard g and a study g was. Now I do. The rules are crazy.
Hard if it precedes a, o or u and if the word ends in g.
Soft if it precedes i, e or y. Add silent e if g is at the end and you want a soft g sound.
