This goes right along with the idea that you can only be hurt by things that (you believe) have truth in them.
Pause, breathe, and say to yourself "can't change this". Then examine yourself to see if it TRULY IS something you have no power to change.
If yes, then move on with your day, because fretting about something that only someone else can change won't bring about the desired change. It only clogs up your brain space.
If it's something you DO have the power to change, or at least influence, then determine what action you can take to affect the change, implement it, and move on.
I'm both instances you will have an much improved mindset for the day.
More importantly, you will have proved to yourself that you have the power to choose your mindset (feelings) towards any situation you come up against.

I find it interesting how some people can remember everything from the past, with not much thought given to the future. While the next person thinks ONLY of the future and hardly ever remembers who/what/when/where/why of anything. And still the next person livee only in the moment, never considering the past for it's lessons, or the future for its possibilities.
The key is to blend all three.
Live every moment, FULLY PRESENT in the moment, simultaneously building on and working towards the future you want to create, AND allowing yourself to be guided by lessons and experiences from the past.
Remembering the past,
Living in the present,
Creating your future!

I was talking with a friend this morning about life and work and overwhelm and making changes to it all.
Its easy to make a change, and then discover that what you had is closer to what you wanted than where you are now.
I think Michael Gerber calls it the entrepreneurial seizure 😣
While Gerber isn't wrong, this fact is also true:
💥Its hard to know what you REALLY WANT unless you know what you DON'T want, and you can't REALLY know that without having experienced it.💥
If you know what you don't want, its much easier to narrow down what you DO want.

I had a roster that was like that. He was about a year old and had never crowed. One day I was out by the chickens, and crowed at him. He gives me the side eye, like "hey, that's MY voice", and goes to crowing.
