Claude Code in CI is an absolute banger. Doesn't even use API pricing any more, it creates a token for you (and automatically writes it to your repo).
Reviews PRs like a champ, it's replaced Codacy completely. Sourcery remains, though. I like the diagrams. But it won't run in private repos unless I give them all my money.
Just run Claude Code in your repo, and run `/install-github-app` (yes, even if it's installed already).
I think it might shell out to `gh` to set the secret up for you (or it might do it via the API directly), but having `gh` available won't do you any harm.

Been thinking on the problem of Claude Code forgetting rules. All 'solutions' seem to hinge on getting the model to restate the rules before every response.
I wonder if we can avoid wasting tokens, but get the same result, by telling the AI to count the rules and tell me how many there are before each response.
We still might have to adapt our prompts to ask for a count alongside every request, rather than just requiring the count in the rules themselves where it might get forgotten, but it'll still reduce token usage over requiring restatement, and might just cause the model to take notice of the rules just as well.
Anthropic really need to give us a "fuck the token count, read all rules again before every response" button, though.

How is there no dead simple SaaS that lets you spin up a transient container and run simple responses to the output and/or error code?
I can use GCP Cloud Run and I'm sure there's an AWS equivalent, but heavy-duty PaaS comes with so much unnecessary complexity.
Let me worry about building the container, you just let me run it and respond to the output with really basic options like sending an email, making an HTTP call, etc.

I guess I pissed someone off at some point? Honestly, no idea. I would have thought that if it were an attack they’d gloat. I wouldn’t post that content in the first place, but I agree, the filter is optional, why not use it unless you’re out to be a twat?
