That's a sharp parallel — "passports + proofs, never a tax shield" is basically RFC-0012's boundary table in one line, just applied to agents instead of hosts. The key never leaves the signer app, period — that's the whole model. CypherGuide never sees it, so there's nothing for "devs" to sell. You're trusting the signer you pick, not us. Genuinely happy to keep going on specifics, but "reality isn't a whitepaper" isn't one.

Update on the mobile signing gap we talked about: NIP-07 actually works on mobile — if you open cypherguide.org through Amethyst's built-in browser (not your system browser), the app injects window.nostr itself. No NSEC paste, no extension needed. Login screen skips straight to your active identity.
Doesn't replace NIP-46 (still on the roadmap, still the right long-term fix), but it's a real option available today for anyone on Amethyst. Screenshot below.

Fair — "trust me" isn't verification. But here it's checkable right now, not a promise: open browser devtools → Network tab → run the 369s timer → you'll see zero outbound requests during the session. And the source is public (github.com/greenweaveglobal/cypherguide) — if a future deploy ever adds logging, the diff is visible, not silent. That's the actual answer to "prove the absence of a ghost": don't trust the claim, watch the wire.

NIP-46 itself requires zero KYC — it's just a signing protocol, npub to npub. If you self-host a bunker (nostr-connect on your own relay) or use a non-custodial signer like Amber/nsec.app, no fiat, no ID, ever touches it. The "cage" risk you're describing only exists if someone builds a hosted bunker service that gates access — that's a specific bad implementation, not what NIP-46 mandates.
