Heads up, GitLab (just like GitHub) no longer allows cloning a repository via HTTP with just a password.
This means that to import and work with private repositories within Mattrbld, you will now need to use a personal access token instead of your password to authenticate.
You can learn more how to create them here: https://docs.gitlab.com/user/profile/personal_access_tokens/#create-a-personal-access-token
The only scopes Mattrbld requires are: read_repository and write_repository
Using an access token always was the recommended approach, now it is enforced.

Mattrbld v1.4.1 is out! 🥳
This release includes some changes based on user feedback, such as renamed labels in file lists, which will hopefully make things easier to understand.
Other highlights include:
- Support for Avif images in the Media Library
- Automatic addition / removal of Collections in the sidebar
- An option to quickly copy the URL of linkable Collections from the file view

If the whole #wordpress situation has you looking into alternatives, maybe give #Mattrbld a shot. 😊
It’s definitely not a 1:1 replacement—but it will not lock you into a platform that may go haywire despite being open source, as your website will work independently from the content management system.
A new approach is not worse just because it’s different.
#HeadlessCMS are the future. 😊

The year is fast on its way into its final quarter, which means the #FOSS release of #Mattrbld is coming closer.
A big part of that is the licence, of course. I want Mattrbld (and potential derivatives) to be accessible to all, forever. Which is why I’m considering the #AGPL licence (since technically it’s a SaaS product).
Is there anything that would speak against this choice? Are there some special considerations to take before applying the licence? 🤔
