Did a little circular Bitcoin medium of exchange experiment for back to school supplies.
Bought $200 of Target gift cards which cost 691,870 Sats and gave 3.2% back (22,092 Sats) using @npub18tc…2nxx
Immediately bought $200 on @npub1xke…d0en for 679,735 Sats (River has 1.2% fee).
679,735 + 22,092 = 701,827 Sats - 691,870 means +9,957 net additional Sats for me.
Network/gas fees included in the figures above, but it was all done over Lightning ⚡️

Most things are scams. Legislation makes it legal. Regulators and courts are the enforcers. Things that color outside the lines only do so because lawmakers (and their backers) haven't found a way to benefit off of it enough to make it legal yet.
