Said he only took a brand name over the counter analgesic pill that day, which caused the police chief to run to the drug store, purchase & test the same pill to find it threw a false positive. Asshole cops today will write you a ticket for damaging your plate (state property). Because the camera in the cop car can't see it clearly. They also hate clear plastic covers b/c it messes with LIDAR bounces. Absolutely true, I did not know about the 1 time use fan belt. That's insane. Anyone who's owned a classic car knows you just pop the hood and you can get around in there. We used to honestly joke that you could fit a 2nd engine under the hood if the car came with a smaller I6 or V8 motor. The 1970s smog hoses shit started making the engine bay unserviceable trend.

there are a lot of plugins for VLC and you can craft your own using LUA script. It's how VLC knows how to play a YouTube URL & there used to be plugins to play URLs from TuneIn & iHeartRadio as well. There's a searchable icecast web database built-in VLC but most the entries there are French or CC Commons streams. Everything is accessed off the playlist window in VLC. All that left side junk most people ignore. You can also drag a playlist item, drop it on media library to add it there

yeah good luck iHeartRadio & TuneIn kind of destroyed the market for players that database thousands of streams. I still have a copy of RadioSure which became sourceless abandonware though there was a user mvmt to keep updating it's 30,000+ entry stream database for some years.
I had AI gen me a quick script to convert its quirky XML based favorites file into VLC's Media Library format so VLC now has my 100 fav streams built in. You can search for new streams in VLC too + use plugins.

HaHa, I tried to do Delete & Repost a toot & it rate limited me. oh yeah my toot deleter was running, it was napping 5 minutes before trying again. Usually it can delete 30..33 toots before being rate limited. Then it naps 5 min. Usually has to wait 4..5 times before it can work another page of toots. So that's ~33 toots every 30 minutes. Each rate limit hit skips a toot, need to fix that but a 2nd run picks 'em up anyway. I should parameterize nap time too. Del'd most of 2025's toots, on 2024

I used to have some toys like that. The better ones had nesting rings that rotated in different directions so long as the outer one kept a pendulum motion. A 9 volt battery in the base drove a magnetic kicker so once you started the pendulum the kicker kept it going as long as the power lasted. Should be able to find something like that today.
