European Parliament has just rejected the Chat Control proposal again! 🫶🚀
Your voice always matters! Stay ready and keep standing up for your rights!🫶
As a follow-up, ask your MEP to investigate:
📌 Why are EPP MEPs following the agenda and timelines set by Google, Meta, TikTok, and other big platforms, instead of defending the fundamental rights of EU citizens?
📌 On what legal and political basis was this vote reopened, and who requested it — was it driven by the public interest or corporate lobbying? Ask EPP’s MEPs to show their proposal publicly!
📌 If this vote can be reopened once, does that mean it can be reopened again whenever the outcome pleases powerful actors — but not when citizens and civil society are dissatisfied with the result?

2025 was an incredibly rewarding year, full of unexpected gifts and meaningful opportunities. With Open Dialogue Foundation, we continued supporting people where it mattered most.
We assisted in delivering hundreds of bionic hands to veterans in Ukraine, exposed in the U.S. Congress and European Parliament the weaponisation of behavioural data, Silver and Purple Notice of #INTERPOL and shed light on transnational financial repression by authoritarian regimes like #Kazakhstan, #Kyrgyzstan, and Russia reaching EU and U.S. citizens and entities.
We contributed proudly to stopping Chat Control regulation again and shared personal stories reminding why we should be especially active in protecting the privacy of payments, communications, and their developers in the digital era.
Encryption of communication and #Bitcoin are the two tools serving as fundamental guarantees for human rights in the digital era.
On a personal note, after years of separation and health challenges, long-pending divorce papers were finally granted this year, and I fully regained my health.
I'm deeply grateful for the people, lessons, and moments that shaped this year. Looking ahead to another wonderful one.

Back in 2023- 2024 we were struggling to find EU bitcoiners who wanted to participate in the advocacy in defense of FreedomTech Bitcoin mining. We got support of few Czech, Italian, UK and American bitcoiners and grateful for our FreedomTech angels.
The results what you see by Czech central bank head wants it to buy billions of euros in bitcoin is a result of a direct investment by bitcoiners and activists like us in defense of the industry and end-users rights/FreedomTech.
It is possible to repeat in every member state of the EU if you agree to invest in your rights and join movement of FreedomTech Embassy.
When you fight for your rights, you get results and rewards.
On photo: one of our meetings in Czech Parliament with Mr Martin Exner, vice-chairman of the Security Committee and EU Affairs Committee.
As rightly noticed Mr Martin Exner, we live at the edge and the most intense times: if we don’t defend our freedoms, history will repeat empowering dictators in the very heart of the Europe. We need to have new tools to address such attacks on democracies, including energy security.
Our role was to share with Czech Parliament why and how the new technologies play important role in defense of human rights, elections , stabilization of the #grid, reducing pollution and building new energy infrastructure thanks to #freedomtech #bitcoin.
So instead of the EU commission’s approach to limit innovation in the #EU, we call to learn more, support its developers, miners and end-users.

You have a right to wait until it is banned and then what? Complain? Move to other jurisdictions? Or you think that with all negative publicity and just few voices in defense negative government report will transform suddenly into a positive law?
In a free society you have privileges to correct wrong regulatory opinions. You can defend your industry, or just wait to see if really someone attempts to limit it. It is your privilege.
I don’t have such privileges and have the only financial tool to lose/be negatively labeled and affect lives of many people I defend from financial exclusion/repression.
And all of that just because there is almost no will from Norwegian bitcoiners to defend themselves.

Daniel #Batten in the podcast with @npub1r8l…x5dk explains why he supported Open Dialogue Foundation campaign to educate #EU regulators about environmental/energy impact of #PoW & participated in the submission to #ESMA in defence of #bitcoin / #PoW:
1. We have only one year to change false narrative about PoW before the draft of the EU regulation will be prepared by the European Commision and prevent #bitcoin to be labeled as "environmentally harmful" or “threat to energy security/waste of energy”;
2. The false narrative against PoW provokes a cascading effect. This could cause:
📍to stop #ESG funds investing into bitcoin. This is not speculation: in #France ESG funds barred from fossil fuel investments after the government ruling in 2023:

📍introduce a "quasi-ban" like in #Kazakhstan or #China, giving "negative points" to tax bitcoin more heavily than others or made it impossible to operate mining due to the uncertainty of regulatory requirements.
